Players:

Is your high school coach just trying to win region/state championships or are they developing you?

Is your travel/showcase coach chasing rings, organizational clout, camp invites, etc. Or are they developing your game?

Is your private instructors just providing reps or are they developing you mentally and physical to handle game like situations?

Are you spending time to develop your own talent/skills or are you waiting for your coach?

Stop blaming everyone else for not doing what it takes to make you better and if the coaches in your life aren't supporting those efforts then you need too look at the man/woman in the mirror.

Sadie working on a new drill that helps train the movements to get around the inside pitch to a righty. Watch as she works the thumb at 6 o'clock and gets around the ball, then frames at an angle to the corner of the plate.

"Comparsion is the thief of joy"

Players and parents stop trying to compare yourself to another player or create competition that doesn't exist. Be you and develop your game.
If you are worried about being like someone you're not, then failure is eminent.

Sadie working on her thumb drag with the sliders and sticking the ball with the heavy ball. Thumb drag helps with bringing glove up and out when receiving as well as working below the ball.

She is also working getting the outside of the ball on the corner.
