We are very proud of one of our long time Masters Week employees. Please help us in congratulating Harmon Brown on his promotion to the rank of Captain at the Augusta Fire Department this week. He is accompanied by his lovely wife, Vivian Brown, who also does a great job hosting our visitors in Augusta each year!

One of our Deputies who helps protect and serve with us every year during Masters Week, Christopher T Masters, was injured tonight. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
At about 8:15 p.m., Sgt. Chris Masters responded to the corner of Meadowbrook Drive and Dahlia Drive for a reported domestic dispute. During the investigation, a man stabbed Sgt. Masters in the upper-right arm and fled the scene.
Sgt. Masters, a 10-year veteran of the sheriff’s office, was operated on to stop the bleeding. At 10:30 p.m., he was in recovery and listed in good condition.

Each year we say that our staff can't possibly get any better, but each year our EMS team proves us wrong. Without the few hundred employees that work with us during the tournament, we simply could not provide the best hospitality in Augusta. Thank you for the early hours, the late hours, and all of your hard work last week. We hope you get some rest and are ready to return in 2018!
