*** Course Description ***

Porcupine Ridge Disc Golf Course is a linear 18-hole intermediate and pro disc golf course on 40 acres of third generation family-owned land in Augusta, Maine. There is a nice mix of field and wooded area for playing. Starting out at the Club House, the course is relatively open until the sixth hole which drops forty feet in elevation. Hole 7 through Hole 16 is played i

n an old grove forest with varying elevation and obstacles. After completing Hole 17 which is surrounded by an old streaming brook, players find themselves at Porcupine Ridge’s Signature Hole – Number 18. Hole 18 crosses the brook (from Hole 17) and is a spectacular uphill shot that will keep you coming back for more. Regardless of your level of experience or the season, you’ll get stuck playing here.

*** Rates & Specials ***

One 18 Hole game is $6; $10 for a full day of playing. Children under twelve are $3 and under eight years of age is free.

*** Payment ***

Visa & Mastercard is accepted in the Pro Shop. Cash and paypal are accepted when the clubhouse is closed.

*** Honor System ***

Monday through Friday - excluding holidays - Porcupine Ridge Disc Golf Course values the honor system. Sign in sheet are located at the covered porch area near the parking lot entrance to the Club House.


*** Intermediate & Pro Tee Pads ***

All holes have two cement tee boxes: Intermediate and Pro. Intermediate tee pads are white while Pro tee pads are blue. Each tea pad come equipped with a bench and trash and cigarette disposal. All holes are clearly posted with directional signs that layout distance and location. Normal playing time for an 18-hole intermediate game is approximately one and a half hours; Pro course playing time is about two hours.

*** Baskets ***

Porcupine Ridge Disc Golf Course has Innova disc catcher pro baskets which have a 28 chain assemble for better disc catching.

*** Practice Area ***

There is a practice area with putting and intermediate shots which are always available for warm up.

With rain in the forecast and conditions expected to get worse as the evening goes on, we're postponing doubles until next week.

The Young Machinists Union also asked me to let everyone know they'll be hosting an event this Saturday at 10:00 AM with lots of giveaways.
