A very special Throwback Thursday…

Before Sutton Foster was a two-time Tony Award-winning Broadway star, she was once a dancer right here at Augusta West Dance Studio. ❤️

When she accepted the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 2011, Sutton took a moment on one of Broadway’s biggest stages to thank two of the teachers who helped shape her journey - our founder, Dianne, and Miss Cindy, who still teaches our Westies today.

Moments like this are such a special reminder of the legacy behind Augusta West. For nearly five decades, our dancers have learned from teachers and faculty with years of professional dance experience.

When you choose a dance studio, you’re choosing the people who will teach, encourage, and help shape your child as a dancer and person. At Augusta West, that’s a responsibility we’ve been proud to carry for 49 seasons - from first dance classes to Broadway stages and everywhere in between. 🪩
