Hello everyone, I know I rarely, is ever, take time off. However, I plan to take some time off in the next two weeks. The schedule will be as follows: I am teaching on Tuesday the 18th of April, but no other day this week until Saturday the 21st. I will not teach on Sunday the 22nd as I am teaching with Beth in a workshop for caregivers. I will also teach next Tuesday the 25th, but no other classes until Saturday the 28th. From the 28th on I will be back to my (and your) regular schedule. Please feel free to come on either the Tuesday 6pm class or the Saturday morning class at 8:30 am.
As most of you know, I have been dealing with a health issue and have found that I need some time off. Since I do not plan to be away, I thought this schedule would work out the best. If there are any changes, I will notify everyone immediately, and if you feel someone in one of your classes is not on this list, please let them know also. I am calling the ones for whom I do not have email addresses.
Thanks to all of you for being such wonderful students and I will see you all soon. Namaste', Nancy

Nancy Kelley has been a student of yoga and Buddhist studies since her stay in Japan during the ’60s. Her main area of study was Iyengar yoga, though she also chose to work with teachers of Kripalu, Sivananda, and Ashtanga. Having been involved in the medical field, working for hospice, she has a sincere interest in using yoga as a form of holistic care of the body and soul, and she works to give her students the tools necessary to find balance and harmony in their lives.
Nancy began teaching in the late 1990s and has started studios in Gardiner, Hallowell, and Augusta. She also teaches adult education programs and gives private classes. She works with a variety of props to enable everyone to get the most out of their yoga practice. After recovery from her own cancer surgeries in the early ’90s, she began teaching people with chronic health issues in addition to conducting her regular yoga classes. She also offers workshops on meditation and relaxation.
