Michigan weather held up for us to get in our last games!! 🙌🏽 The team went out with energy and hand clappers were on deck ready to go!

These girls stuck it to the end and will have each other for the rest of their lives.

Good luck to all of our players continuing to play in travel and college and good luck to the players who decided to move on with life! And seniors, best of luck in your future endeavors, Coach Michala and Coach Cass can not wait to see what you accomplish!

Finished Storm Dayz this weekend with multiple players above 0.300BA.

Highlighting a couple of other big contributions of the weekend, we had a couple of clutch sacrifice bunts by E. Witheft and A. Ortiz, three stolen bases by A. Ortiz, P. Isaacson, and J. Blomstrand, and M. Halverson had the highest on base percentage (0.625).

We didn’t come for the breeze — we are the wind chill.

This weekend we got some crazy winds and heat and with us, we brought home lots of dirt!

Finished 2-2-1 as a team and 9 players batted over 0.300. Congrats to Brynn, Megan, Caitlin, and Sam for earning MVP this weekend! (Unfortunately we did not get a pic of Sam, however, Sam, way to show up on the mound in our last pool play game today!)

Watertown update, we gained more knowledge, have more opportunities to grow, and had a few mental reminders about the game of softball. One reminder being: Sometimes calls do not go our way, we have to remember to play our game and control the controllables, including the way we respond.

L. Taylor, C. Gregory, P. Isaacson, and A. Tuminello all batted over 0.300! Way to be, in-game adjustments and getting the ball in play is crucial for baserunners and therefore runs!

One practice under our belts leading up to our next tournament in Elgin June 20th-June 22nd. Game times will be up soon!

Started day 2️⃣ in Watertown, Wisconsin and unfortunately the results were not in our favor. We are going to come back tomorrow at 11am and put it all out on the field!! ☀️ We take the losses with the lessons and use them!
