It is with heavy hearts that we share this update. After thoughtful consultation with the UAPSL Committee and the family of our dear brother, friend, and teammates of Francis Amoako, the United Africa Premier League – USA has decided to postpone the opening of the UAPSL League to May 10th, 2026.

This decision comes as we take time to honor his life, reflect on his impact, and stand together in mourning. Francis was more than a player—he was family, and his presence will be deeply missed by us all.

All games will now kick off on Sunday, May 10th, 2026.

We ask that you keep his family, teammates, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you for your understanding, unity, and support as a league.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
