👏 Join us in congratulating Evie Scaling of Monument Academy, our SCHEELS Impact Player of the Month! Evie made an incredible impact during her first season of track and field, qualifying for the state meet in the long jump, 100-meter dash, and 200-meter dash. Despite competing through a painful rib injury, she demonstrated remarkable perseverance and determination on the state's biggest stage.

Beyond athletics, Evie maintains a 4.0 GPA while serving as a student leader, Student Council member, National Honor Society inductee, and team captain for both basketball and track. Known for her team-first mentality, humble leadership, and unwavering support of her teammates, Evie embodies what it means to make an impact both on and off the track. 🌟

Prior to the first pitch of the 3A Baseball State Championship Game on Saturday, we honored Greg Pierson, who was working his final baseball state tournament for CHSAA. Greg has been an educator since 1971, and has been a coach, teacher and administrator at The Laboratory School in Greeley, Air Academy High School, Englewood High School and University Schools throughout his career. In addition to that, he has been helping as a site director for the 2A and 3A baseball tournaments for over 20 years, giving his time and energy to make these tournaments special for the participants.

3A Baseball: University Breaks Through With First Title Since 2019 GREELEY - Playing in its hometown of Greeley, and at a field the team knows all too well in Butch Butler, University felt confident entering championship Saturday.

Baseball: No. 1 Arvada West (5A), No. 3 Falcon (4A), No. 6 D'Evelyn (3A) and No. 2 Monte Vista (2A) all survived Friday's consolation rounds to secure spots in Saturday's championship games. Each of these teams will need to win twice against No. 3 Regis Jesuit (5A), No. 5 Pueblo County (4A), No. 1 University (3A) and No. 1 Forge Christian (2A) to secure a state title.

Championship games start at 10 a.m. with the if needed game scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
