Great morning at Generation Church and meeting with Ryan Visconti kingdom work is happening. Michelle Murray Bloyer and I really enjoyed the time at the Queen Creek Campus.

Michelle and I love when we get to be at the Dixxon Flannel Company store in Phoenix. Shirts shorts and flannels!

There is just something about Arizona that just hits right for me.

Already had a great day in the pool and getting some great sun! Got my pool honey by my side.

One thing that I have learned over the last 30 years of ministry is relaxation takes time. It is a more like a dimmer switch than a regular on and off switch. First couple of days is simply allowing myself to slowly step away from regular rhythms of life to relax. Great meals, great conversations, and allowing myself to sleep in.

Excited to get away with this amazing lady. Relax and rejuvenate for the amazing season to come.

There is nothing better then spending time with my children and their significant others. One thing that has been rattling around in my head is this. Parent your children when they are young and you can be friends with them when they are older. Be friends with your children when they are young and you will parent them when they’re older. Be absent when your children are younger and when they are older and you don’t get to do either. The choice is yours.
