CSU Pueblo Athletics
We are proud to announce that Colorado State University-Pueblo will host our 2021 CO AAU Football Championship games at "The Thunderbowl" on Saturday, October 30, 2021. This is one of the top NCAA Division II football facilities in the country and we are very excited to host our championship games on campus in the city of Pueblo, CO.
The game schedule for this year’s games will be announced at a later date. All championship games will be streamed live!
Colorado Select Football will offer discounted hotel rates for this special weekend through its hotel partnerships with CSU-Pueblo Athletics.
There will be a host of pre-game events throughout the day on Friday, October 29, 2021 (Golf, CO AAU Football Championship Media Day, CO AAU/CO Select Football Awards Dinner)

DeRose ThunderBowl: (Constructed 2008, Capacity: 6,500)
Home of CSU-Pueblo's Football and Men's and Women's Track and Field programs. Complex includes a synthetic turf field (new turf in 2016), as well as jumping, pole vault, and throwing areas. Also serves as the site for numerous Pueblo high school football and track and field events. Host to the 2012 and 2013 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships and a NCAA Division II Football Semifinal game in 2014.

(We are allowing original birth certificates for this season again due to COVID-19 for new players or new teams. Existing players and teams must upload Government issued ID)
Coaches- AAU Non-Athlete Membership, USA Football Certifications, PCA Certification, Copy of ID
(All Player/Coach certifications are done online through National Sports ID who uses its database to conduct Age/Grade verification for youth sports and efficient management tools protecting the integrity of teams, tournaments, and leagues. All fees associated with certification fees will be paid online to National Sports ID
September 11th - 12th Tentative Date for Regular Season Games
September 14th – Final Player/Coach Certification / League Rosters Final- for players or coaches added after 8/30/21
October 23rd-24th CO AAU State Playoffs (Sites TBD)

Douglas County School District will handle Game Day Operations
Admission: $8.00 Adults & Youth (Ages 6-14)

Spectator tickets must be pre-purchased directly through the individual teams. Any remaining allotment of tickets not sold by the teams will be made available for the general public on Friday morning at 8:00am and you can email [email protected] to purchase tickets if any are available. Each team will be alloted 150 spectator tickets that must be pre-sold for your individual game. Tickets can be picked up on Thursday evening November 5th once you have your pre-paid total payment for the number of tickets sold. If you do not use your allotted amount of ticket’s they will be made available for the opposing team and/or general public on Friday, November 6th.
No tickets will be sold at the gate and each game will require a separate game ticket for each age division as we are under strict COVID19 guidelines that have been issued for Douglas County as well as Douglas County School District.
Gates will open at 7:00am for players and coaches only and you will be checked in at the north entrance and will have access to the Home & Visitor Locker Rooms at EchoPark Stadium 45 Minutes prior to your game time and at halftime.
Only Coaches and Team Personnel listed on your NSID verified league roster will be allowed on the sidelines NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Please make sure that you have your CO Select Football laminated roster as it will be checked against the league rosters on file 60 minutes prior to the start of your game. Players and Coaches must all check in together beofre you will be allowed to enter the stadium. Team check in will be one hour prior to your scheduled game time at the designated check in location.
After the completion of each game your teams must exit the field immediately after receiving your team/player awards. Championship team and Runner-up can meet parents and supporters outside of the stadium in the designated area. No spectators will be allowed on the field as teams must clear the field immediately so the next teams playing can warm up. All spectators must exit the stadium immediately before the next set of ticketed spectators can enter.
Higher seeded team is the home team and will be on the east side of stadium (HOME) while the lower seed will be on the west side of stadium (VISITOR)
Spectator parking for the home team will be the EAST parking lot and will enter through the East gate, and the visitor will be the NORTH parking lot and enter stadium at the NorthWest gate for visiting team.
Only CO Select Football approved media will be allowed on the field for video and photography
Concessions will be available from Douglas County School District-
No Outside Food or Drinks will be allowed inside the EchoPark Stadium grounds.
