This morning Marmion lost one of her great Cadets - Ed “Oy” Aister ‘59. We would like to honor Oy and his Cadet Brothers with this small tribute we have taken from the Marmion archives. Oy was a starter on Marmion’s only undefeated football in 1957 and continued to give his all on the 1958 team, his senior year. Eddie Aister, a great football player, a great friend to so many, and a great Cadet. Oy will be missed by many - May he rest in peace. Marmion never forgets her Cadets!

This October 24 marks the 50th anniversary of the Cadets homecoming game with Carmel of Mundelein (a 21 - 6 Marmion victory!) Marmion’s 1970 football team, coached by Matt Laurich, has to rate as one of the truly great teams in our history. A special thanks to Bill Grobl for his great photos.
