🏆 THE FRANCHISE 🏆
Every team has an MVP. But not every team has THE Franchise — the guy who sets the tone, carries the load, and keeps the wheels turning all season long.
Dillon Randolph was that guy for us. He showed up early, fired everyone up, and backed it all up with a hitting clinic game after game. He even used his medical background to keep teammates patched up and ready to go when it mattered most.
Sure, the championship game didn’t go the way we all wanted — but let’s be real: without Dillon, we don’t even get to that stage. His consistency, his grit, and his leadership were the heartbeat of the Mets this year.
That’s why Dillon isn’t just a player… he IS THE Franchise. 🧡💙

🏆 MVP: Clay Shourd 🏆
Torn UCL in April. Most players would’ve hung it up. Not Clay. He refused to think about himself—he thought about his team.
Peptide injections, grit, stubbornness, whatever it took—he showed up because he loved the game too much to walk away and he knew the Mets needed him.
His manager told him to rest. Clay laced ’em up anyway.
That’s not recklessness—that’s loyalty, toughness, and heart.
431 average. .508 OBP. 1.077 OPS.
Warrior numbers.
Legend status.
This season, Clay didn’t just play baseball. He defined what it means to be a teammate. 💪⚾️

FINAL: Generals 3, Mets 2
Heartbreaker? Yeah. But also a damn classic.
pitched with a torn UCL like it was a paper cut. shut the door like it owed him money. Harrison Smith sprayed hits like it was batting practice.
The Generals? They did their best impression of a squirrel—got a couple lucky nuts and ran with it. Props to , but let’s not pretend he wasn’t sweating.
We’re banged up, bruised, and still almost pulled it off.
We’re the team your team doesn’t want in the playoffs.
See you next season. We’re not done.

This ain’t travel ball.
This is dirt in your eye and tape on your hamstring.
This is bruised ribs and arms running on fumes.
Tonight’s not about who’s healthy.
It’s about who still wants it when everything hurts.
Game 3 of the 2025 28+ Championship.
#1 Generals vs. #3 Mets.
Old school grit. Men’s league madness.
7PM. Downs Field. Monday night.
Let’s finish this.
08/02/2025
Final: Generals 7, Mets 4
This one felt like a punch in the mouth.
We came out hot—up 2-0 early—but the 4th inning flipped the script fast. Injuries to our arms have taken a toll, and Mosby shoved for them. Credit where it’s due.
But we’re not done. Game 3 is Monday night. Winner takes it all. We’ll be rested. We’ll be locked in. And we’re coming to finish it.

Austin Mets Steal the Spotlight in Late-Inning Thriller Over Generals
GEORGETOWN, TX — The Austin Mets did what the Austin Mets do: grind, claw, and come out on top. Down but never out, the boys rallied late to sn**ch a 5–4 win from the top-seeded Generals Baseball Club 28+ on Wednesday night in Game 1 of the Championship Series.
With the game knotted at 4 in the top of the 7th, Harrison Smith stepped up and laced a go-ahead double, delivering the dagger with swagger. That swing gave the Mets the lead — and they never looked back.
Austin got on the board early after Monty Maley forced a fielder’s choice that still brought in the game’s first run. The Generals punched right back, tying it in the bottom half and pulling ahead 3–1 by the third, thanks to a sac fly and a costly error.
But don’t count out the Mets — ever.
Doubles from Frank Deesing and company in the 6th tied things up, setting the stage for the final act. That’s when Harrison said, “I got this,” and delivered.
On the bump, Blake Glauben was downright nasty in relief, going 3 scoreless innings and striking out 5 to seal the win. Andrew Smith started the game, and Clay Shourd helped bridge the gap.
Offensively, Deesing and Maley each drove in a pair, while Rob May stayed hot, going 2-for-3 and setting the tone all night.
The Generals weren’t pushovers — Zac Reininger racked up 11 K’s, and Hardway and Homza gave our defense fits. But when the dust settled, it was Mets baseball that prevailed.
💥 Game 2 is Friday night at historic Downs Field in Austin. First pitch at 7PM. The Mets are one win away from glory. Bring your rally caps — this series ain’t over, but momentum’s wearing blue and orange.
