“I have been on a personal journey of health improvement over the last few years. I went down 30 pounds to lose weight and have been slowly adding back lean muscle while improving diet and exercise. Isaiah has been a key part of this journey helping me switch between weekly plyometrics and max weight workout routines. He has been pushing me to work harder, and my yearly assessments are showing the progress.
These new habits have helped me rehabilitate injuries and allow me to continue my passion in outdoor adventures like hiking, camping, landscape photography, and weekly golf with friends! I look forward to seeing how this continued journey will help me in the years to come.”

“About two years ago, I sustained a neck injury that made it tough to maintain a steady fitness routine. Since then, instructor-led training and group workouts have kept me committed while teaching me to train safely and effectively. A special thanks to Isaiah—his dedicated coaching has been instrumental in my progress.
Focusing on proper stretching techniques before workouts and adapting body-aware training has been key to staying resilient and injury-free. I’m still working toward greater consistency and strength, but the journey has been incredibly rewarding, building sustainable habits with the support of my fitness community.”

“One of my 2025 goals was to add more strength training to my weekly routine. I have been enjoying group classes and specialty series at the Summit for many years and love how easy it is to do personal training on site.
With a full body training goal, I can see the effort I’ve put in with progress increasing weights and improved form. Coming in once and sometimes twice a week for a Friday Fun Day session, I’ve had a lot of fun breaking up my week and getting stronger!”

Congratulations to our October Member of the Month, Joe T!
Joe decided to join the Fitness Center when his body started making weird creaking noises when he stood up and he realized he’s too young to sound like a haunted house. 🩻 Joe participates in almost all of our evening group exercise classes and really enjoys them because they are the perfect transition from work stress to physical stress.
Joe has logged over 14K miles cycling around Austin over the past few years. 🚲 He’s learned that every road leads to Barton Springs or a breakfast taco truck, but besides the Fitness Center, those are the only two destinations that matter. 🌮
