What a great group we have for April at Northwest Rec. Meet, Play, Learn. Newcomers learned so fast with the help of Coach Susie and the novice players had great rallies and rotated partners with the help of coach Margie. Fun, social, supportive.

Always great to start a new month of Meet, Play, Learn Pickleball in Austin. This is the south group pictured. Fun, friendly play in a supportive community. Great seeing everyone’s skill level advancing.

This week I was part of the team that ran a corporate pickleball tournament for 96 players inside a hotel with two courts brought into the ballroom. I need to tell you that this was all about fun for a competitive group working for a technology company. Can you imagine a work conference that ends the evening playing pickleball and having a blast?!

We can provide a team building corporate experience like no other.

Ok, it was cold and windy but we had a great time at the AY Valentine Team Tournament. And we won. Margie, Susie, Clark, and Jim. Fun!

You make me want to dink. You are the big dill. Nothin but lobs for you. I’ll lob you forever. I’ll drive for you. You make me forget who served. You make my top spin. Zero, zero, heart!

Teaching the punch volley today. Watch the ball, don’t reach out too far or you will have no punch, and punch forward. Not across the ball. Drill.
