CALI - 10.10.26, Los Angeles, California

Coach Crystal stepped back in the ring last weekend, fighting with a new (to us) organization and competing for the IKF international title against a tough, well respected opponent in her hometown.

Saturday night, as the main event, Coach Crystal put an absolutely beautiful performance of high level Muay Thai on display for the away crowd and her family members in attendance. While Crystal showcased a full range of Muay Thai weapons, dominance in the clinch, and aggression throughout the bout, the judges awarded Crystal’s opponent a UD win at the end of five close and well fought rounds on both sides.

A big shoutout to the promotion and matchmaker for taking care of us while we were in LA and trusting us to show up, make weight, and put on a banger of a fight for the fans at CALI. Thank you to all the fans, messengers, and sponsors back in Austin and around Texas that tuned in and showed your love and support via the livestream, and leaving your comments and high fives for Coach Crystal in the chat on Saturday night. Without this team, these fights wouldn’t be possible and you ALL play a big role in getting us to these high level stages.

We have so much more to do, and I can’t wait to see it.

Let’s do it again sometime.

Elevate - September 2026, San Antonio, TX

Xavier made his amateur debut under KB ruleset a couple weekends ago, and showed every bit of the grit he pulled from camp in that cage. Xavier had a strong camp filled with learnings and takeaways that he applied in his debut. He trusted the process, trusted his Coaches, and showcased his composure, focus, range management, and unapologetic hard hits that led him to his first UD win against a sturdy opponent who did not shy away from the fight.

Huge compliments to all the Messengers and Coaches that contributed to Xavier’s camp, sponsors, the promoter and matchmaker for the opportunity, his opponent for giving him a tough first fight, and everyone that saw Xavier through to the final bell.

Let’s do it again sometime.

- How long have you been training Muay Thai?
Approaching 2 1/2 years total but I’m about a year and a half at OG!

- What is your favorite part of training?
Two-fold answer: Working with newcomers (because we all have been there) and seeing how excited they get when they nail down a technique, and being asked for more of myself each time I come to class both physically and mentally. Both of these help me level up each time.

- Favorite fighter?
Currently it’s Jackie Buntan. Her boxing is pure art. Sawsing Sor Sopit for her ability to control distance and dominate no matter where she stands facing her opponent.

- What’s so special about TOGTBC?
As someone who struggled to “fit in” growing up, OG is a sanctuary that truly welcomes all. I can be my authentic self and it’s embraced. We all congregate for the sport but it goes so much deeper than that — it’s an atmosphere and family that gives you back what you give it.

- What do you do when you’re not training Muay Thai?
I work in the RV industry, so I get to travel a lot which is my favorite. I love being outside (been to 6 Nat’l Parks this year), vinyl, going to raves, thrifting ‘n’ lifting and perfecting my morning coffee pour over. I call myself the “side quest queen”, I’m always down for to try something new!

- Favorite spot to go dancin on a Saturday night?
Concourse Project and Vulcan Gas Co. for heeeavy dubstep 😎
(Ed: Brittany is super consistent, always willing to help, and always up for a challenge. Keep going, Bezler!)

Coalition 4 - August 2026

Coaches Jarrod and Alyssa were back at it last weekend in Houston. Jarrod’s technical game, fight IQ, and power played a major role in him taking home the UD win across all three rounds and added another notch of experience to his resume. Alyssa’s brand of southpaw aggression was on full display for the home crowd. Heavy kicks, clean elbows, and a revised clinch game earned her the UD win in a barn burner of a fight against a well seasoned, technical opponent we love and respect.

Thank you to everyone who made it out to support, tuned in from home, sparred, trained, and pushed these two through camp. Thank you always to the matchmaker for keeping us busy, promoter for the opportunity, officials, volunteers, bartenders who were in the weeds all night, and a big THANK YOU to our opponents and their teams for meeting us in the ring and putting on a show for Texas. We don’t take easy fights. Big respect.

As always, we’ll take our learnings from these bouts, make some adjustments, and continue our pursuit of leveling up for the next one.

Let do it again sometime.

- How long have you been training Muay Thai?
I started June 2025 - so ~14 months now!

- What is your favorite part of training?
There are so many things… but if I could capture it in two parts, it’s the ability to learn something outside of my comfort zone and the drive to become better. Training also translates into different areas of my life that I’m so grateful for - discipline, friendships, and being comfortable with being uncomfortable.

- Favorite fighter?
I enjoy watching Petchboonchu and his clinching techniques. I hope to incorporate more clinching into my arsenal.
I also love watching our OG coaches, but special shoutout to Crystal and Jarrod 🫶 I fan boy over them all the time.

- What’s so special about TOGTBC?
I don’t even know where to begin… TOGTBC has helped shape who I’m becoming in this short amount of time, even at this stage of my adult life. I started MT here, and it’ll always be home. I love the relationships I’ve been able to build, I show up at high and low points but when I train I’m still treated the same. This gym has instilled so much discipline, grit, and perseverance in me and it pushes me to want to be better, and show up for others in the community. I’m a shy guy, but I love you all very much.

- What do you do when you’re not training Muay Thai?
You can catch me playing pickleball, baking bread, cooking, or trying new restaurants with my wife.

- Favorite non Muay Thai Saturday afternoon activity?
No such thing… Saturdays are reserved for Muay Thai.

(Ed: Brian showed up one day and never left and we love him for it. He’s always ready to work hard, learn, and level up. Keep going, Brian, we’re here for it!)

Texas Muay Thai Championships 11 - July 2026

Coaches Alex and Jarrod stepped back in the ring for a couple three round bangers last weekend. Jarrod put on another great display of technical, intelligent, Muay Thai and walked away with the UD win. Alex brought his signature brand of power and menacing tenacity into the ring with him and ended his bout with a third round KO against a taller, game opponent.

Big ups to all OG Messengers that showed up for your fighters. That crowd energy and love goes a long way. Thank you to the matchmaker, promoter, volunteers, and officials for keeping everyone safe.

Let’s do it again sometime.

Member Spotlight - Bri aka Bri Glossner

- How long have you been training Muay Thai?
About 8 months.

- What is your favorite part of training?
I enjoy getting to show up everyday and try to be better than I was the day before. The constant learning keeps me on my toes and evolving.

- Favorite fighter?
I’ve really been enjoying watching Marie "Snow Leopard" Ruumet Marie Ruumet. Her clinch game is beautiful and her volume and technique with knees are something I look up to.

- What’s so special about TOGTBC?
It’s a place where you come and put all your bu****it aside. We suffer together. We grow together. Every single person in that building cares and I believe walks in everyday to be better. The coaching staff is diverse in gender/ethnicity but also styles of teaching and fighting. I feel smarter and stronger every night I leave.

- What do you do when you’re not training Muay Thai?
I’m a Commercial Interior Designer when I’m not here I’m usually with clients working on multifamily developments. I take pride in being able to design and create spaces for people to enjoy.

- Favorite non-Muay Thai art to participate in?
I love ceramics. I like to make little silly monsters. It’s a fun way to work with my hands and be creative in a low stakes environment.

(Ed: Bri is consistent, tenacious, and has a mean cross and rear knee in training. Excited to see where she’s going to go. Keep showing up, Bri! Thank you for the trust!)

Show up, train, then go get a Costco glizzy cause it’s America’s birthday and what’s more American than whooping wholesale ass, buying a metric ton of mustard, and eating $1.50 glizzies.
