Stay focused on executing the tasks that have a direct impact on hitting your goals.
Setting a goal is the easy part, but having that goal alone doesn’t bring the results.
We need to break that down into daily action. We need a plan in place to keep us moving towards our goal.
If we want to lose 15 lbs in the next 3 months, we know we’re going to need to be in a calorie deficit. We also know the more muscle we have, the higher our metabolic rate, the more calories we burn.
So working back from that we build a workout plan and a nutrition protocol to increase strength and burn calories, and we start tracking our macros.
Now we can focus on executing a few simple actions each day:
-Workout
-Eat foods according to plan
-Drink water
-Get quality rest
It’s not quite so overwhelming when it’s laid out into small tasks. The formula really is that simple.
With technology now, it’s simplified even further. We use our custom app from Trainerize that has all the tasks planned out for you by your coach:
-Macro targets and nutrition protocol
-Workout routine with instructional videos
-Cardio
-Daily habit reminders
-Weekly check-in forms
-Progress pics
-Direct access to your coach when you need guidance
All you need to worry about is opening it up and checking it off as you complete it.
It’s couldn’t be any easier!
Too often we want to overcomplicate the process or think there’s some magic formula to getting in shape. But the simpler we keep it, the more likely we are to execute the plan.
