Stay focused on executing the tasks that have a direct impact on hitting your goals.

Setting a goal is the easy part, but having that goal alone doesn’t bring the results.

We need to break that down into daily action. We need a plan in place to keep us moving towards our goal.

If we want to lose 15 lbs in the next 3 months, we know we’re going to need to be in a calorie deficit. We also know the more muscle we have, the higher our metabolic rate, the more calories we burn.

So working back from that we build a workout plan and a nutrition protocol to increase strength and burn calories, and we start tracking our macros.

Now we can focus on executing a few simple actions each day:
-Workout
-Eat foods according to plan
-Drink water
-Get quality rest

It’s not quite so overwhelming when it’s laid out into small tasks. The formula really is that simple.

With technology now, it’s simplified even further. We use our custom app from Trainerize that has all the tasks planned out for you by your coach:
-Macro targets and nutrition protocol
-Workout routine with instructional videos
-Cardio
-Daily habit reminders
-Weekly check-in forms
-Progress pics
-Direct access to your coach when you need guidance

All you need to worry about is opening it up and checking it off as you complete it.

It’s couldn’t be any easier!

Too often we want to overcomplicate the process or think there’s some magic formula to getting in shape. But the simpler we keep it, the more likely we are to execute the plan.

What action are you taking today to get you closer to your goals?

7 things to remember:

1. Chase your goals, not people
2. Your potential is limitless
3. Taking action > everything else
4. It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks
5. No regrets, just lessons
6. Nothing matters without your health
7. Life is over before you know it, make sure you spend every day actually living

Your health and well-being is an investment.

Far too many people ignore it, but in the end we all pay the price eventually.

You can eat healthy, put in the time to exercise, move your body, stretch regularly, and have the benefits of that discipline.

OR

You can ignore your health, think you’re living the easy life, but it will catch up with you. Mobility decreases, back and joint pain comes with time, preventable health issues arise the more we ignore our nutrition and exercise.

Too many people don’t pay attention to their health until they’re forced to.

The quality of your life is directly tied to the quality of your health and your body. Speak with someone you know that’s lost their ability to move or is fighting ongoing health issues. What wouldn’t they give to be healthy again?

Why then do we have such a hard time investing in ourselves? We can’t justify spending a few hundred dollars a month on our fitness, but $2000 on the latest ultra HD TV to watch the latest episode of real housewives is no problem.

What we value, we invest in. I believe most people don’t invest in their health because deep down, they don’t believe they’re worth it. Most of us struggle with worthiness and confidence at some point.

But you ARE worth it. We only get ONE chance at life, ONE body to take on this journey called life. The stronger and healthier that body is, the more you can do in and with your life.

The healthier your body is, the better you feel. The better you feel, the higher your quality of life is.

How are you investing in yourself today?
