This October, Fables of the World takes us to Vietnam. 🌙✨

Ballet Austin presents The Seventh Night Sky, featuring the artists of Ballet Austin TWO. Vietnamese-born choreographer Thang Dao brings a beloved centuries-old Vietnamese legend to life, filled with glowing lanterns, dancing birds, original music, and a dreamlike journey across the Milky Way. Created for audiences of all ages, no prior ballet experience is needed. Only curiosity and a sense of wonder.

This imaginative performance is commissioned by The Bancroft Initiative / Clara & Paul Bancroft as part of Ballet Austin’s "Fables of the World" series, which takes families around the globe through dance, music, and storytelling.

This is what all the hard work is for. 🩰✨

After weeks of early mornings, long rehearsals, and pushing themselves further than they ever thought possible, our Summer Intensive dancers take the stage.

We see the dedication, the sacrifice, and the heart every student has poured into every single class. These performances are their moment to shine!

We are so proud of all of you. 💫

Day one starts NOW!

Ballet Austin’s Senior Summer Intensive is officially underway! For the next three to six weeks, our dancers ages 11–22 will train alongside Ballet Austin’s resident faculty and guest teachers from our professional company — diving deep into ballet technique, pointe, variations, and a full range of contemporary styles.

We are committed to helping every dancer leave stronger, more confident, and more prepared than when they arrived.
