Visualize your routine holding when the score tightens. Not perfect play. Not perfect emotion. Just the same steady actions repeated when pressure tries to pull attention away. That is how routines become reliable.

Best wishes to all Austin Tennis Academy players competing in the Texas Slam this weekend in Plano.
The Texas Junior Sectional Championships is the biggest event on the Texas junior tennis calendar, and we’re proud of every ATA player stepping onto the court to compete, learn, and represent themselves, their families, and the academy.
Compete hard. Stay present. Support each other.
And remember: your sportsmanship is something you get to control.
Have a successful experience, ATA!

The walk between points is part of the routine. It gives players time to breathe, release the last point, and prepare for the next one. A steady walk can become a quiet reset button.

Routines work because they are repeatable. When players practice the same small actions with intention, those actions become anchors under pressure. Consistency starts before the ball is struck.
