Austin Coolers Dragon Boat Team

Austin Dragon Boat Festival 2026 in the books. Not only did the Coolers have two boats on the water, but we also participated as paddlers, drummers, and steers on multiple community/corporate teams. Many of our paddlers were also racing with our sister team Paddles with a Purpose. Great effort by all!

Thanks to all who came to watch and spend time with us. Great job to the community teams we trained over the last month as well!

ATX HongKongers at 2026 Austin Dragon Boat Festival!

On top of our annual home race, the Coolers always try to go to as many races a year as we can. This year we’re planning on Dallas, OKC, Chicago, and Orlando! Here are some of the festivals we’ve raced in the last few years.

The biggest change from 2015 to 2025 may be the pixel count.

Bringing it back to 2019. Some faces have changed, but the same team spirit (and much of the shirts) remains 💪🏽
