For the past three years, Trek has been the Presenting Sponsor of TX NICA. But, they've been in our corner for as long as we can remember!

Neutral support at every race. Pathfinder Scholarships for student athletes. Amazing bikes. And a genuine belief that getting more kids on bikes changes lives, not just in Texas but across the globe.

Trek shows up. Every race weekend, without fail. They live NICA's core values and our student athletes and families feel that on the trail!

Thank you, We are so grateful to have you in our corner.

A Houston suburb where you won't have to drive every time you leave home 07/16/2026

Can bikes become a bigger part of Houston suburban life? One Montgomery developer is betting on it. We sure think so!!

A Houston suburb where you won't have to drive every time you leave home Can suburban Texans drive less? One Houston-area developer says thoughtful street design can make cycling a realistic option in this new 4,500-home master-planned community.

September 26-27, 2026, we're bringing together 100+ coaches from across Texas for our annual Leader Summit!

Well-trained coaches are what make trails safer all across the state, and this weekend is how we make that happen. It's open to current coaches and anyone thinking about becoming a coach or starting a NICA team.

We're looking for a $5,000 presenting sponsor so we can keep costs low for coaches who already volunteer countless hours year after year.

Interested in supporting the coaches behind youth mountain biking in Texas? Let's talk!

Meet Coach Brandon!
He coaches for the ETX Piney Woods team and gets to ride 29 Pines regularly! He's part of the TX NICA Event Crew helping to mark and take down the race courses.

He is also a dentist, which makes his ride snack of choice, Nerds Gummy Clusters, officially dentist approved... we think.

His advice for every rider: "Ride your ride. Don't worry about anyone else."

Oh, he's also pretty Okay at bikes. He did earn a Texas State Championship Time Trial award this past summer...

It's hard to explain what really happens when you join a TX NICA team. It's a lot of riding bikes, but its also the parking lot conversations after practice. The high fives. The camp fires. The kickball and softball games on race weekends. What's something nobody told YOU?

We're launching our STUDENT spotlight series!

Meet Larson.
He's on the Midway High School team and a member of the TX NICA Student Advisory Cabinet, a group of student-athletes who help shape the future of the league.

His favorite NICA memory? Placing last in sixth grade due to a mechanical. When he finally crossed the finish line, people were still cheering. 🤩 That's TX NICA 🤩

His advice for every rider: "If you put in the work, it will pay off."

Give Larson a follow
