Texas Interscholastic Mountain Bike League

10/12/2026

We were at the Lttle Sugar mountain bike race this past weekend dialing in our cheer squad vibes for National Interscholastic Cycling Association - NICA Central Regionals while some of our student-athletes and coaches raced.

It's fun being on a team and it's even MORE fun coming together to represent our entire state. Everything is bigger in Texas and that includes our grit, sportsmanship, community and FUN factor.

We are less than 30 days from Central Regionals. Get signed up. Get your cowbells and harmonicas and noisemakers together.......... Let's show 'em the how to have a good time!

A few days ago, Lake Travis Mountain Bike Team Lake Travis Mountain Bike Team coaches and student-athletes showed up to support the future of trails in their community!

A huge thank you to Travis County Parks for inviting the community to share ideas and provide input on improvements at Reimers Ranch Park and the development of the new RGK Ranch Park.

We love seeing student-athletes learn that being part of the mountain biking community goes beyond riding and racing. It means showing up, getting involved, and advocating for the trails and outdoor spaces we all enjoy.

The future of trails is looking bright!

I don’t know about you, but I can still hear Jurgen and Suzanne saying the magic words...“You’ll have a one-minute, 30-second, 15-second, and 5-second warning before I blow my whistle...”

And suddenly it feels like NICA season again.

250 can help one student. $30,000 can help us reach whole new communities.

Our new Partnerships page lays out exactly what different levels of support can make possible, from student scholarships to dedicated outreach that helps us start more teams across Texas.

If you’ve ever wondered how to support Texas NICA in a really tangible way, this is a good place to start.

The Texas league wouldn't exist without the generous and ongoing support of our many sponsors and partners.
