North vs South River Bass Challenge

Changed it up and hit the water in the evening. Culled up with a couple solid keepers💪🏼

Tried the early bite to no avail, the evening was much better. A lot of shorties and this big girl on a Carolina rig. Current score: 87.75

Couple of decent Guadalupe bass from the loco yesterday.

4 fish for 67.75" today anchored with a 19" fatty. New total score: 92.75"

So far seems to be a battle of northern smallmouth vs. Southern large mouth.

Had a great start to the morning with an 18.5" smallmouth. After that, a handful of shorties and a slow bite before getting a 15.5" large mouth. Current score: 84"

Topwater won the morning with this big girl.

7 measurable bass for Don before noon. Got lucky with his first cast too. Turned out to be his kicker bass of the day with an 18 1/2" smallmouth. Don takes the lead for now with a current score of 79 3/4"
(After review, fish in pics #1 and #6 will not be counted, as it is unable to tell if fish are touching the bump board. Don still in the lead with a score of 79")

3 bass to start this morning for Ethan with a 22.75" kicker. Current score: 55.25"
