Congratulations to our Texas Jr Star 10UA2 team for winning the DSTHL championship this past weekend. The Jr Stars won against the previously undefeated San Antonio Rampage. Jr Stars lost their first game in OT, 6-5. They won the 2nd, 3-2 forcing a winner take all 3rd game. In the 3rd game, the Jr Stars battled back to tie the game with only 7 seconds left in the3rd period, forcing into overtime. After two intense OT periods, the game went into a shootout where the Jr Stars finished the Rampage off and won the Championship!! This has been a remarkable season and we wish all the players the best of luck next season.

The IHAA (Ice Hockey Association of Austin) is up and running.

The IHAA is to support the Texas Jr. Stars and Rising Stars, and support the players, coaches, and player families involved in the program. The IHAA consists of player parents and community members who support youth hockey through sponsorships and volunteer activities. The principal objetive of IHAA is to raise funds for the Texas Jr. Stars and Rising Stars, and in so doing, ensure the quality of ongoing improvement of the program and the players' experience. IHAA is a non-profit organization that operates under an established set of by-laws that prescribe how the organization conducts business.
