Dash is a 5 year old “hony” that has traveled the country and is now ready to be your new partner. Easy to be around and an easy keeper, he will make someone a very lucky person!! He has shown at rated H/J shows in massive environments like Split Rock at the KHP, and in Texas as well. He literally will walk into any ring, Hunter or Jumper, and jump anything put in front of him without the need to school or sight see. He has Evented at the Kentucky Horse Park and most Area V venues at Beginner Novice, but has schooled Novice and Training and jumps bigger show jumps at home. He has easy lead changes and all his lateral movements for the dressage work, but definitely prefers to jump!

Dash is a consummate professional when on the road- he loads like a pro, gets off and goes straight to work without a lunge and is never bothered by new environments or intense venues. He trail rides alone or with a group and is happy to let anyone take him for a bare back spin. Dash stands quietly for the farrier and only goes in front shoes, is easy for the vet, has clean radiographs and up to date on all vaccines and dental work.

He evented with his kid (does ditches, water and banks) and then was leased out in the barn to a HJ rider who showed him in the 2’6 Hunters and .85 jumpers with good ribbons! Although he has his own engine, he is not a forward ride and sometimes requires a baby spur to get going at the beginning of a lesson. Although pretty easy, he isn’t for a complete beginner due to having his own opinions some days since he’s still a young guy. We love this little dude and can’t wait for someone to come enjoy him as well!! We have a ton of additional video including current XC schooling and flatwork. Hey friends!! looking for an easy easy event horse, looking for his or her step “down” in life. Have a very qualified, good riding kid who needs something willing to let her learn. We don’t need anything too old stepping down to BN, but something that can let her learn eventually up through training possibly. She is TINY, so nothing bigger than 16 ish hands please. No ponies, as that’s what she’s moving up from. We need something that doesn’t have a buck or bolt- current pony is a younger guy that has some sass and our goal is to find something more seasoned that will let her learn. No breed, color or s*x preference, but it HAS to have a US Eventing record please.

And so it begins, AGAIN!! A few years ago someone took out credit cards and tried to buy a house in my name. Thank God for Credit Karma catching it and alerting me immediately, thus prompting me to lock all of my credit reports. Just got this letter from Discover that someone was apparently trying to open a personal loan in my name a few days ago. Any suggestions from anyone who has dealt with this stuff besides locking your credit reports, which has been done for several years? I’m so frustrated with bad people!!!

Every year on my birthday, I’m flooded with reminders that an angel once loaned me her wings, in an effort to help me accomplish some of my wildest dreams. 2 years in a row, Leggs and I trekked to NC for the month to compete at the FEI level, and train with some of the best in the industry. Robin was one of my biggest cheerleaders and fan, encouraging and supporting us every step of the way. I love when I get these Facebook memories… they’re like a special present to me on my special day, reminding me that she’s up in Heaven still cheering me on every step of the way. Love and miss you both so much, Robin and Leggs ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!! I feel lucky to never complain about turning a year older because it means I get another time around the Sun with all the amazing people I love so much. “Age” is never promised, so live the best life you can for those who weren’t lucky enough to celebrate another year. This day is so special for so many reasons these days, and these two will always be one of those reasons.

Y’all… I was cleaning out my garage today and unboxing a few things from forever ago and I found my old Bible. Inside was this note, along with a list of money everyone owed me that needed to go into my horse fund lol. The Bible and this note are from 1990… if anyone needs proof that I was always an Emo kid, my list titled “stuff needed for school” included vans and a good attitude 😂😂😂 I would like to reiterate that it was in my Bible. Clearly I was praying hard for that good attitude 😂

2021 is behind me and there’s a ton to say about it in another post when the time is right. A ton of HUGE life changes came my way recently… some planned and a few unplanned. When I look at where my life is heading in this new year, I’m striving to make changes that will develop new habits that “serve me better”. In the past, I made a huge habit of letting others control my time and energy (both in good ways and bad), and it allowed me to compromise on promises made to myself. This year, that changes. So here are a few things I want to get better about moving forward!! Much loved to everyone in finding a better balance in 2022! ❤️❤️❤️
