Steel Dance Company is a student-led dance organization at the University of Texas at Austin.
STEEL Dance Company was founded in 2001 by a few students at UT to create a free environment to learn, perform, and choreograph. STEELIES love different dance styles including contemporary, jazz, and hip hop. We are entirely student led, meaning that the members are the dancers and the choreographers. AUDITION INFO! can’t wait to see everyone 🩵
steel auditions will be held on thursday, jan 15th from 7-10pm in BEL 502A. please bring dance shoes, your dance resume, a printed headshot, $10 audition fee (cash or venmo), and optionally a short written statement (1-2 sentences is perfectly fine) about anything you want to let us know (injuries, why you want to join steel, etc.)
