If you are interested in the Grand Slam of Sheep, we recommend that you start with Dustin Roe's Backcountry BC and Beyond. He does not offer the luxury or catering you may find elsewhere, but what you get is honest, hard hunting in some of the best sheep country you will find. The Team is humble and passionate. They are extremely efficient. They have a deep asset base of air, water and land vehicles and horses for efficient navigation and transport. They have some off the best guides that will become friends for life. And, they are one of the only outfitters that offers all four sheep in the slam through one entity: Stone-Cassiar-BC, Dall-LaBiche-YK, Desert-Baja-MEX and Rocky-Willmore-Alberta.

Elk in the Gila National Forest are going to be really good this year with the southern jet-stream and moisture in a heavy El Niño season.
