Exciting news from a Dancers Workshop alum 💫
If you watched the Artemis NASA live broadcast, you may have seen a familiar face… Allison Rich was at her station in the NASA Houston flight control room!

Allison is part of the EECOM team, responsible for the environmental health and safety of the astronauts. She was seated on the right side of the screen. Allison also played a role in designing many of the computer systems and displays used on board. We are SO proud of all she is accomplishing.

What makes this even more special to us is that Allison grew up dancing. She spent her childhood in the studio, and while her career path led her to robotics and NASA, the foundation she built through dance absolutely came with her.

Dance teaches discipline.
It teaches how to work hard when things are challenging.
It builds confidence, resilience, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure.
It teaches teamwork and leadership.
These are life skills. And they translate far beyond the studio.

At Dancers Workshop, our goal has always been bigger than just great dancing. We are shaping strong, capable, confident humans who are prepared for whatever path they choose.
Allison is such a beautiful example of that.
