❤️‍🩹Phases of Tissue Healing

Rehabilitation planning is built around how tissue heals over time.

Each phase has typical timelines, key biological events, and training priorities.

Inflammatory response (~2-3 days): pain, swelling, ↑ inflammatory cells
Fibroblastic repair (up to 2 months): ↑ collagen, ↓ inflammation, weak tissue
Maturation-remodeling (months-years): fiber alignment, ↑ tissue strength

Goals of rehabilitation and reconditioning:
1️⃣ Heal tissue without overstress
2️⃣ Meet phase progression criteria
3️⃣ Use research-based programs
4️⃣ Prepare for safe, effective return to activity
