BARTHOLOMEW Born in Chicago, IL.

I attended Morgan Park High School, where I graduated in 2005. While in high school, I was a two sport athlete, playing volleyball and running track. I attended the University of Texas at Austin from 2005-2009, where I became NCAA champion in 2009. I ran track professionally for NIKE for 8 years (2009-2017) earning a spot on the 2009, 2011, 2013 World Championship Teams. I retired from Track and Field after the 2017 season.

This Sunday from 10am - 2pm, come move your body with so many amazing fitness classes. From Align Yoga to Circuit Training, there is a class for everyone and for every fitness level.

Pease Park Conservancy is coming together with Essential Fitness ATX and Austin Youth Fitness to bring a day of fitness fun to Pease Park featuring the 2nd annual Pat Lochridge Classic Basketball Tournament!

30-45 minute classes for adults will be throughout the day and classes are free and will include:

Reiki Education with Patrice Symone

11:45 AM:
Pilates / Breathwork with Nicole Miller

Circuit Training with Chaz Davis

Hey Guys,
Don’t forget to take care of those bodies pre and post workout. Stretching is an amazing way to help your body get ready for the workout, recover from a workout while preparing it for the next workout either later that day or the next day. If you aren’t able to get a stretch session after your workout (which hopefully you do 😉) you can also stretch while you are in the shower or after your shower. Your muscles will be nice and warm and able to move easily. Another way to help your body wind down for the night is to get a good gentle stretch session in before your head hits the pillow!!! If you have questions or want to get some great stretch exercises, add a comment below!! Happy Tuesday!!!
