Ringo is nearly well enough to leave the Parvo Ward 🤞🏼 We created a CUDDLY fundraising campaign (link below) to help with his vet bills because we are fast approaching around $8k for his care. 😓 One of the reasons this has been such a difficult journey for little Ringo is how long he had to wait to receive any care at all once he was diagnosed. He was surrendered to a very small shelter, where he sat waiting for 5 days in an outdoor kennel splattered with blood and diarrhea before we learned about him. We made the decision to immediately hospitalize him before transporting him here, which probably saved his life. But Ringo suffered through so much blood and protein loss in those 5 days (plus however long he was experiencing symptoms with his prior owners) that he’s had an exceptionally hard time recovering. He’s FINALLY perking up in the clinic and eating on his own, so we’re hoping he can be released soon.
