Seb holds over 3 decades of recreational and racing experience in middle-distance running (mile thru the 5k) as well as road, gravel, and mountain biking. Seb holds a racing license with USA Cycling as a Cat3 Road, Cat3 Cyclo-Cross, and Cat1 Mountain bike racer. Seb also holds a Level 3 Coaching License from USA Cycling. Seb enjoys a fun-filled active lifestyle, the mile run, hill climbing (both running and cycling), the beautiful outdoors, and exploring unfamiliar roads and trails. David “Seb” Boone bio:
About: A young-at-heart masters athlete who focuses on cycling, middle-distance running, and general fitness. He is a spontaneous, open-minded teacher who keeps life fresh with new experiences in an active outdoor lifestyle. Specializes in working with beginners, non-athletes, and mature folks. With over 30 years of athletic experience, he has successfully completed 100s of running and cycling events. Fitness philosophy: Believes that one should seek out their most enjoyable physical activity. It is variety and fun that maintain the excitement and interest which builds not only an exercise program but a healthy lifestyle. Health and fitness begins with simple lifestyle changes. Recent achievements: June 2017: 24hours in the Canyon (bike race). May 2017: Warda Mountain Bike Race – podium! April 2017 - Cap10k run - set a new personal record. April 2017 - Castell Gravel Grind – longest gravel race to date. March 2017 – Holy Roller Gravel Grind. March 2017 – Boneshaker 10k. Most exciting achievement: Raced the 2014 Breck Epic (6-day MTB stage race) and HH100 Triple Threat (MTB, road, and 13-mile trail run) back-to-back. Ongoing goals: Keeping health and fitness FUN and maintaining the ability to run a 5-min mile while continuing to excel in various cycling disciplines, CycloCross (CX), Road, Gravel Grinding, and Mountain Biking (XC MTB).
