On Friday, June 12, the US National Team coaching staff is descending on San Diego for two high-intensity training sessions focused on elite Game Play, Tactics, and Situational Point Play. Gear up for major upcoming majors like the Senior World Champs (Argentina), Pan Ams Cat Libres (Paraguay), and Pan Am Sr (Brazil) alongside our world-class national coaches: Angel Espadas, former World #6 Celeste Paz, Jon Guerra, and Antonio Martinez.

The road to Argentina starts now! Player registrations are officially open for the US National Senior Teams as they prepare to take on the world at the FIP Senior World Cup in Buenos Aires from September 12–19, 2026. Following an outstanding showing at the 2024 FIP Senior World Cup, where the women finished 7th and the men 9th, both squads have secured direct qualification to the tournament’s final knockout phase, bypassing the qualifiers. With the global field expanding to a historic 32 nations across five age categories (40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+), competition for roster spots will be incredibly fierce. If you are an eligible player with a valid U.S. passport and the drive to help secure a world championship medal against international heavyweights like Spain and Argentina, now is the time to register!

The future of American padel took over the court, as USA players secured a clean sweep across all three boys divisions at the FIP Promises Tour in Mundelein, IL. Hosted at Padel Clube, the FIP Promises junior tournament welcomed over 40 athletes from the USA, Mexico, Colombia, Sweden, and Argentina to battle for vital continental ranking points. Top seeds Santiago Costantini and Vitto Benvenutto dominated the bracket to capture the U14 crown, while Diego De La Cruz and Jorge Chaul fought through a deeply competitive international lineup to secure the U16 title. Completing the USA trifecta, Alejandro Kalil and Emiliano Antonio Gonzalez went undefeated in the U18 division to lift their second FIP Promises trophy of the 2026 season, proving that America’s next generation is fully prepared to compete on the international stage.

Texas is cementing its reputation as a premier destination for youth padel! For the second time this season, the International Padel Federation (FIP) has sanctioned a Promises Tour event in the Lone Star State, returning to the blue outdoor courts of Wakit Rakit in Spring, TX, from June 26–28, 2026. Led by former U.S. National Junior Team star and coach Tito Moreno, this tournament offers a massive platform for U14, U16, and U18 divisions to compete for critical FIP Continental ranking points, which directly impact international seeding and national team selections. With the unique rule allowing players to test their skills across two separate age brackets, the tournament promises high-intensity match play from dawn until dusk. Nine months ago, Pedro Bautista opened SLC Padel Club in Salt Lake City, a market where almost nobody knew the sport existed. Today, he’s packing a portable net into his car, running demos at local school recesses, and handing out padel balls to every student he meets. Pedro’s grassroots hustle is a masterclass in community building: by working with local schools, speaking at assemblies, and engaging the Chamber of Commerce, he has turned Utah schoolchildren into the sport’s biggest ambassadors. His blueprint proves that growing a junior program doesn’t require a massive marketing budget, it just takes time, presence, and the willingness to get a racket into a child’s hand.
