Congratulations to Hayden Brannan on being selected Team MVP, as voted on by his teammates!

The 6’8” senior captain led the team with 13 pts and 6.5 rebounds per game, as the Vipers racked up a record of 29-8, the second-most wins in Vandegrift’s history.

Brannan was selected Offensive MVP and 1st Team All-District for 6A Region IV District 25, 1st Team All-Central Texas by the Austin American-Statesman, and TABC All-Region.

From the Statesman: “A nightmare matchup in the post for most opponents, he led a Vipers team that went to the third round of the Class 6A Division II playoffs and finished 29-8 with 13.2 ppg and 6.5 rpg.”
