Adam went on a sending spree last night, crushing a whole range of problems from 6A to 6B+. Describing his hardest send, he comments,
"I have heard of this beautiful problem and when I saw it, I liked it very much. It is a long and intensive problem with a crux under the top. The beginning is very overhanging and spectacular with colonettes and the last part with small holds.
When I came to the last part of the problem I began to feel a little bit nervous. I fought a lot in the last part because the hardest part was at the last move but fortunately I didn't know it. When I arrived to the top I didn't believe that I did it. I was so happy. I can't believe it!!! My perfect route...my preferite climbing style!!”
Dungan Dungeon
A spontaneous idea blossomed into one of our coolest projects yet. Adam Leedy and Daniel Kietzer did just that.
What if you could rent a mixed-used storage space and build your own climbing gym - with better problems, less snot-nosed kids, more beer and cheaper monthly maintenance costs than the local alternatives?
Adam and Daniel will be up at the Dungeon this evening around 7:30ish. Come join us - we have some new problems for you to send.
It is definitely Dungeon Season in Austin! Adam came up tonight and had a super successful session, sending three new problems including a new 6A+!
You might have seen his video from Monday where he fell at the end of the last problem. Well, tonight it finally went down.
It's been way too long! Adam's been injured (when is he not?) And Daniel has been buying a house. Well, tonight we're getting back at it! Come join us. 7:30PM you know the place! Let's get some hard climbs in on those new holds we put up a couple months back!
Open for business this evening. Usual time (7:30ish), usual spot (open door, west façade, sketchy metal building in the bad part of town). See you there.
Doors opening this evening around 7:30! If you haven't fondled the new moonboard yet, you're seriously missing out. BYO beer n' snacks.

During Sunday morning church services at The Dungeon, Adam managed to nab the first FA of the new setup. It's been dubbed "Putting it in the wrong hole" and goes at about 6A.
Come check it out this week at Tuesday and Thursday night prayer sessions.

And yes, those little yellow things are wicked good.
Any Dungan Dungeon enthusiasts looking to climb this evening? 7:30pm?

Protecting those tendons!
Inspired by a Power Company Climbing post he read last night, Adam decided to "Just man up and get your ass out of bed earlier. Act like you want it."
Sunrise Dungeon sessions, the breakfast of champioins!

This is super inspiring. Mark has a full time job and a family and is pulling down some North America's hardest sport lines at age 36. Amazing!
