So much for that sponge bath...

Mother nature threw us a curve ball for the final AER event of the year. The conditions were uniquely challenging but we and all the other teams were up to the challenge.

To add to our team's challenge, during practice on Friday, the 955 had ABS issues and was not able to qualify. This lead to us starting from the back of the field for race one. Nevertheless, we were able to chop through the field, on the track and with some good strategy calls working our way all the way up to first in class.

But the story didn't end there, with the challenging conditions worsening, we had an off track excursion which did some damage...

Not to be deterred, the crew rushed into action, getting the car back into fighting shape quickly allowing us to get back into the fray. The 955 managed to hang on to second in class. Time for some prep work and another bath.

After a some repairs, regular prep and a lovely sponge bath, our # 955 BMW M3 is ready to head to Summit Point, WV for one final American Endurance Racing event of the year. We hope to add to our points lead and secure the Series Team Championship!

Meeting of the minds! Decisions, decisions.....
