Junior guard Braeden Terrell earned All-Centex Honorable Mention honors following a highly productive season, showcasing his leadership, scoring ability, and consistency on both ends of the floor. We’re excited to see how he builds on this momentum heading into his senior year.

Please join Akins Boys Basketball for our basketball camp for incoming 3rd through 6th grade students! Everyone is welcomed, boys and girls of all levels. This is a great opportunity to learn fundamentals, learn more about basketball and have fun with other campers and the HS coaches and players. Please share and sign up today!

Please have your player at the gym by 3:30pm.

If you are not on a meal plan, please make sure your child
eats *prior to being dropped off at school.

The cafeteria will be closed and therefore will not be available to make sandwiches for the non-meal-plan players.

Game times:
5:15 Freshman
6:30 Freshman B
6:30 JV
8:00 Varsity

Please note that game times are subject to change. So plan to arrive early so that you don’t miss out on your child’s game.

Freshman A & JV, @ 9:30 AM

Freshman B, @ 10:45 AM

Varsity, @ 10:00 AM

Hello all Akins boys basketball parents!

Please note that tomorrow we will have the Northeast scrimmage at Akins:
5:15- Freshman
6:15- JV
7:15- Varsity

*Times may vary depending on the length of each game. Please make sure to arrive ahead of time so you don’t miss your child’s game.

*The concession stand will be closed, so please make sure to plan accordingly.

*Parent meeting will be this Wednesday, the 13th of November, in the Cafeteria at 6:30 pm.

*A light meal will be provided for players and their parents.

*Players need to be prepared with their basketball uniform because the photographer will be set up to take their photos.
