🔥 JS7 BREAKS DOWN THE JETT LAWRENCE IRONMAN CONTROVERSY
James Stewart says he understands why fans thought something looked off at Ironman, but after breaking it down from a racer’s perspective, he does NOT believe Jett intentionally handed Hunter the championship.
JS7 pointed to several things:
🦶 He could see Jett protecting the injured ankle, including avoiding putting the foot down in corners and changing how he absorbed landings.
🤕 James compared it to a race where he competed with an ankle so swollen he needed a larger boot, yet from TV you could barely tell how hurt he was.
👀 He also explained the difference between “slowing down” and actually “waiting” for someone. At first, Jett looked like he might be waiting for Hunter. But once Hunter caught and passed him, Jett STILL couldn’t raise the pace, which made James think something physical was genuinely wrong.
🔥 JS7 also said that if Jett really wanted Hunter to win, Moto 2 made little sense because Jett actually held Hunter up on a track that was hard to pass on.
And James threw out one more possibility people haven’t talked about much:
What if Jett simply felt CHAMPIONSHIP PRESSURE in a way we’ve never seen before?

JS7’s bottom line?
He says both sides can find evidence to support what they believe, but Hunter was the best rider over the full season and did NOT need Jett’s help to earn the title. 🏆
