That’s one of the things I love most about this sport — the people you meet, the friendships you build, and the memories that stay long after training is over.

The hardest belt in Jiu-Jitsu isn’t the black belt. It’s the WHITE belt. 🤍🥋
The white belt belongs to the person who was scared… intimidated… out of shape… too old… too busy… or convinced they “weren’t ready” — and walked in anyway.
Every black belt you admire once stood exactly where you are standing now.
Sometimes, the greatest victory isn’t becoming a black belt.
It’s having enough courage to become a white belt.

In a time when people change academies, teams, and paths so easily, this chapter deserves to be recognized.
From his very first days as a white belt to earning his black belt from Prof. Diego Gamonal, he stayed loyal to Brazilian Top Team, committed to the journey, and dedicated to the people who helped build him.
A firefighter. A teammate. A loyal friend. And now, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt.
Black belts are earned through technique and years on the mats—but there is something especially meaningful about reaching that level without forgetting where you started or who walked the journey with you.
