This page is for the promotion, communication, and development of Olympic Finn dinghy sailing in Texas and Gulf region for interested sailors. jfbland at me.com

The FINN dinghy fills the slot for the HEAVYWEIGHT DINGHY in the Olympics. It was designed in 1949 by Rickard Sarby and was first used at the Olympics in 1952 in Helsinki. It has been used at every Olympic regatta since then. The Finn Class sailboat is a great one person boat to sail and race. Its a powered up and physical boat that rewards effort from the mind and body. Modern Finns can accommodate a wide range of weights and physical strengths. Come join us today for the fun and comradely.
