Implementing simple hanging techniques into my training is by far the best thing I've done for my grip and pulling strength. If you're training any sort of upper body strength, I suggest you incorporate it into your daily workouts. Remember what it was like to climb across the monkey bars when you were young? The exhilaration of making it all the way across in one try. The practice of locomotion through multiple hanging patterns teaches you to manage strength and mobility; while increasing greater adaptability. Expect to see PR's in your pulling strength, overhead mobility, and possibly many other upper body movements due to increased health of the shoulder system.
