The supplement industry is very unregulated here in the States.

Combined with the power of social media, that DOES make it very hard to know what the truth is, as well as if what you’re buying even is what it’s supposed to be. I find people tend to fall into two categories:

1) I’m excited to take anything and I’ll buy it from anywhere that it’s cheap, or a famous person is endorsing it

2) Supplements are synthetic poison and supplement companies are evil

I wish there were more people in the middle. You can do in the middle by:

1) Working with a dietitian to analyze your diet, and understand what you’re missing based on diet, lifestyle, and history.

2) Accepting that just because you’re making “wholesome” choices with organic meat, and homemade meals of risotto does not mean you’re getting all of your micronutrients. Literally at all, not even close.

3) Do your research on any supplement company - the company should have a COA for every batch, and should have the supplement in both the proper physical form for its use, and in a structural form that is acceptable for its purpose. JUST BECAUSE YOUR DOCTOR PRESCRIBED IT DOESN’T MEAN ITS ALWAYS GOOD. It’s more likely than if you buy it off of Amazon, that’s for sure, but not guaranteed.

SIDE NOTE: doctors DO MAKE MONEY off of you buying supplements they recommend.

I have finally released it!

These last 8 months have been very full of surprises for me. Which - is why I’m delighted that I will be offering a nutrition curriculum I have been working on for over 2 years now, starting in June.

The class will be weekly on Tuesday in June via ZOOM, either at 9am or 7pm, and it will be recorded for your convenience.

This class is for people who are ready to take responsibility for their own health. It’s for people who want to be guided to use knowledge to make their own choices, and to break free from those who find themselves having to identify with a certain “diet type” or find the perfect youtube health guru that they can identify with in order to make a life change.

I don’t have any magical tricks, or the perfect thing to tell you. What I will tell you is that if you pay attention, and do your homework, this month will change your life, and make you immune to all the nonsense out there 🙀

No need to be a Life Time member to sign up. DM me for details!

Early Bird pricing ends tonight! However, attending the Info Session (link in bio) this Tuesday will be another chance to take advantage of the $150 enrollment.

ZOOM link for Tuesday will be sent to all those who sign- up through the link in my bio!

SHES BACK

I have been on a silent little ride since October 2021. Today, I completed my first day of my Dietetic Internship.

This is the fourth time in my life that I’m going through a serious growth phase (one other than this kind 🍑). It’s HARD.

But, growth isn’t really the hard part, you know. Growth is hard because it requires change. Change is the hard part. Change is what makes you stop, look around and freak the f**k out when you don’t recognize where you are. Growth is actually the thing to look forward to - the moment you realize that you are handling something differently, or in a completely different place than you were previously.

I am officially part-time at .life
Somewhere that I’ve spent close to 10,000 hours since 2019.
Thank you to all of my clients, athletes, coworkers, and friends for being so supportive of me as I take on this next chapter of my life.

Thank you especially to my ☄️🎸❤️ for helping me emotionally cope with myself

Your physique, without the work, doesn’t impress me.

If my man mark can train this after his hip replacement, you probably don’t have an excuse not to 💫

sending you some love as your leg heals. So proud of you for this!

I have learned so much from you and about this sport taking on this new challenge. We will get through it!

B**b jobs.

I obviously don’t have one. I have literally avoided this post for as long as I can remember. It’s a very sensitive subject for some people. I am in no way SHAMING people for getting them - what I want to briefly state is this:

I want you to know that even the fittest women have insecurities. A big portion of them also either have history of body image and eating issues, or still have those issues even as their posting on Instagram talking about how bad*as they are and how you should use their training app.

This coming year, think about ways to boost your self-talk, the self-talk of your best friend, or your girlfriend/partner.

A big part of that is likely going to be eliminating triggers, or influences, that cause us women to compare physiques.

I have shifted my personal practice very far away from promoting or training people, especially women, towards pure physique.

If you, or your bestie / partner could benefit from focusing on strength, movement, and empowering skills, the first 10 people that DM me can have access to my revamped online training programs for free.

This is not about her body.

(I mean, it can be for like 2 seconds because LOOK at her 🤩)

This is about a young woman who, in my eyes, developed a confidence and capability that will carry her incredibly far. It will help her make decisions like, for example, not sweating the small stuff when that b*tch Sally from sales sends her a very ill-tempered unnecessary email. It will help her as she looks for a new house, transforms her department, and impacts new team members. She will continue to smash her PRs in the gym and take care of her mind and body because that’s what she deserves.

Starting January 1, the first 10 people to DM me can join the training program I had her on leading up to her wedding.

What is sexy?

I’ve been thinking about this A LOT lately.

My perception of “sexy” and attractive as a female has changed drastically in the last few years.
I used to walk around like, the Costco parking lot (ladies you hear me on this) and there were days I would just be like….”everyone is staring at me”.

I just felt confident - and therefore, I suppose, very attractive. But, what was that based on? I didn’t actually know that anyone else thought that, either.

Where did that confidence come from? What was it BASED ON?

As I age, and I’m 27 for the record, I don’t get that feeling much anymore at random. But I do get it when I look at videos like this.

One of my missions recently has been to show young women and young girls how to improve their self-image through their literal strengths and talents - NOT BY LOOKING ON INSTAGRAM and buying a training app from some ripped chick that inundates your feed with her abs, probably has an eating disorder and still feels like garbage about herself.

I look at myself in THIS video and I go “damn, look at that chick go.”

I’m re-releasing my online programs on January 1st - The first 10 people to DM me will get to start that first month at no cost.

Happy Wednesday, and SHOUTOUT to all the female trainers out there today!

As much as I have always relatively ignored the idea of gender inequality existing in the workplace, man, today is a day and I want to remind everyone out there that you should be judging your trainer by what they KNOW and how they can problem solve. You should NOT be judging them on how they look, or how popular they are. The longer I work in this industry, the further and further away I get from promoting aesthetics in women, especially.

Sometimes I wish I were a shape shifter and I could have conversations about cost of training with a dude’s face and body, and then slinkily shift back into my body as soon as the conversation is over. As a woman, you can use your knowledge to make a BIG difference in the lives of both men, and women.

I am finally making the move to re-shape all of my online programs. I will be posting daily these next 9 days prior to January 1st - the first 10 people who sign up through the link in my bio for some online training will get the first month for 🆓🆓🆓🆓🆓🆓🆓🆓

What’s your beauty regimen?

There are thousands of people getting paid to do their makeup and put it up on YouTube. Did you know that?

How different do you think their makeup looks from each other?

Does that habit help them feel better about themselves long term?

Its time to create a routine that really makes a difference - one that not only makes you feel insane and amazing, but that sets an empowering example for others.

Cleaned up.
I love you at 30.

WHY DOES SLEEP MATTER?

The longer I’ve been working in this business, the more and more I find myself trying to get people to understand that their results are limited by their lifestyle.

Lack of sleep, too “health conscious” diet practices, over productivity, compartmentalizing stress, and over exercise are serious problems.

Jasmine and I are loving our new mattress. Your sleep needs change throughout your life’s seasons, and it’s important to pay attention to that!

is the sleep tracker that has made me accountable to myself over this last year. Read what Oura has to say about the importance of sleep from the link in my bio!
