Some days, even those of us who are the healers need to be reminded that we are human, too. 🤍

We hold space for others. We encourage. We listen. We help others find their way back to themselves.

But there are days when we need to step back and simply breathe.

Days when we feel tired.
Days when we question.
Days when we shed old layers, emotions, expectations, and things we thought we had already healed from.

And that’s okay.

Healing isn’t a straight line. 🌿
Some days we bloom.
Some days we shed.
Some days we simply rest.

Both are growth.

So if you’re having one of those “shedding” days, be gentle with yourself. You don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to be strong every moment.

🌲🍋 All-Natural Pine & Lemon Cleaner

A simple homemade cleaner made with fresh-cut pine, distilled white vinegar, and fresh lemon.

What You’ll Need

* Fresh-cut pine needles and small pine pieces
* Distilled white vinegar
* 1 fresh lemon
* 1 clean Mason jar with lid

Directions

1. Fill the jar with pine
Add fresh pine needles and small pieces of pine to the Mason jar. Fill it about ½–⅔ full. Don’t pack it too tightly.

2. Add the lemon
Slice one lemon into rounds or wedges and add it to the jar with the pine.

3. Pour in the vinegar
Fill the jar completely with distilled white vinegar, making sure the pine and lemon are fully submerged.

4. Seal and infuse
Put the lid on tightly and give the jar a gentle shake. Store it in a cool, dark place for 2–4 weeks.

5. Strain
When the infusion has developed a strong pine-and-lemon aroma, strain out the pine and lemon. Pour the infused vinegar into a clean jar or bottle.

To Use

For everyday cleaning, dilute with water:

1 part pine-lemon vinegar + 1 part water

Use on appropriate washable household surfaces, then wipe clean.

🌿 A Little Note

Because this is an infused vinegar cleaner rather than a tested commercial disinfectant, it’s best described as a natural household cleaner rather than a disinfectant or sanitizer.

Avoid using vinegar on: marble, granite, natural stone, unsealed wood, or other acid-sensitive surfaces.

Just spent a little time wrapping up some of our fresh sage bundles. 🌿🤍

There’s something so satisfying about picking it, tying it up by hand, and hanging it upside down to slowly dry.

I think I’m going to put some of this in my shower and I’m going to make a fresh bouquet as well! It smells so good!!

A simple little garden chore, but one of my favorite parts of what we do here at The Hollow. 🌿✨

Our beautiful golden-yellow meadow flower is buzzing with pollinator activity! 🐝🌻

🌿 RAGWEED 😤
The plant that often gets blamed for those seasonal allergy symptoms!

Although they bloom around the same time, Goldenrod is primarily insect-pollinated, while ragweed releases airborne pollen that commonly triggers seasonal allergies.

So, Goldenrod says: "Don't blame me! Talk to my neighbor!" 🤣

🌿✨ BUT WAIT... GOLDENROD HAS MORE TO OFFER THAN JUST A PRETTY FACE!

Goldenrod has a long history in traditional herbalism, where different species have been used in preparations associated with:
