Let’s address the elephant in the room and talk about 💰💰💰! Are the Infant Aquatics lessons I offer worth your money?
The answer is a resounding YES. Let’s look at the numbers:

Wishing everyone a fun and safe 4th of July! 🧨🇺🇸
If you’re near water please remember to remain diligent in your supervision both during AND after swim time.
69% of child drownings happen when it’s not meant to be swim time!

Please get in the pool with your kids instead or get them in lessons. Throw it away and don’t look back. Do i post about these a lot? Yes, because I am a follower of a lot of parents who’s children sadly drowned because of it. I don’t want anyone else to know the pain of those families.
If I’m not near you please pm me and I’ll send you people who are!!!!
These also counteract all the work we do with the kids we teach. Why? Swimming is muscle memory so if you keep putting them in these their bodies will automatically go into the drowning position (vertical) while in the water and we always want to be swimming horizontally with the water 🩵

These moms and families share so it doesn’t happen to others.
Please everyone read about the steps you can take and have a safe and beautiful Memorial Day weekend!!
We thought we had time.
To enroll Mazie in swim lessons. (We looked into it and there was not a certified survival swim instructor within 60 miles of us.)
To let her stay in baby floats or flotation devices longer.
To put up a fence around our pool.
To order a pool cover.
To install door and pool alarms.
To remove our dog door.
The truth is, none of us know how much time we have. Is it hard to face all the "what should haves" and vulnerably admit that our tragedy was preventable? 100% yes but there were so many water safety variables we just didn't know. This is why we choose to share and educate others, to ultimately save little lives.
As we near the end of Water Safety month and the peak of drownings this holiday weekend, we ask you to not delay in implementing prevention measures. We have updated the layers of protection through our website and hope you will share with everyone you know and love.
If you don't now, you may not have time.

Good information as I’ve recently seen posts about “Dry Drowning” but if you ask it’s not a thing.
This false info keeps lots of people from putting their kids in lessons which breaks my heart as it could save a life.
Beachgem10 on TikTok Replying to Duffy “Dry drowning” and “secondary drowning” are not medical diagnoses. Symptoms from a submersion are usually immediate, rarely they present 4-6 hours later
Amazing added security for my families that have pools!! Worth EVERY PENNY

She said it best 🩵
There is a negative stigma around survival swim lessons. The thought is that all we do is throw babies in the water. There are viral videos of a swim teacher throwing babies from the side of the pool and then jumping in the water after throwing said baby & snapping her fingers above the babies face to get them to float.
1- A certified instructor will NEVER throw a baby into the water. We NEVER let go of a child until we are confident that they are skilled enough to do it on their own!
2- If your baby has to be propped to float by snapping fingers above their face, they have not been taught true survival lessons.
I get comments almost daily about how all I do is throw babies in the water.. When in reality, we are all momma’s & this is what most of our lessons end up looking like! 🥰
We are able to teach and get skilled floaters and swimmers by loving on them, believe it or not!
I am not saying that it’s not hard to watch, especially at first. 99% of the kids do NOT like it but almost all of them grow to love it by time their session is completed.
If you want to know how our lessons work, ask any of our swim moms who have been through the program! Don’t base your opinion on survival swim lessons from videos on TikTok! 😉
