Hello Webber Softball followers!

We hope everyone is doing well. We know it’s been a while since y’all last heard from us, but we haven’t forgotten about our followers. We kept this page up so our past players could remember the many memories from their time at Webber.

A few of our alumni and coaches were recognized this past weekend. These alumni helped build the foundation for future Warriors to come. They were also apart of the 2016 Sunbelt Conference and Regional championship team. They went on to play at the NAIA World Series.

As you all may know, there has been some change in the Webber Softball world.

The article that was written did not accurately report the true occurrences of the past 3 weeks. Coach Orr‘s notice of resignation was submitted on December 22. For those of you who speculate he quit on January 7, a day before school, he did not quit.

This was a decision that was not easily or hastily made. This decision was based solely on his happiness and for the good of his family. He did not accept another coaching job at another school. He has retired from coaching.

As for his staff, they support him whole heartedly. His players support him and stand behind him as their coach.

As of last Thursday, Kennah Orr is no longer apart of the Webber Softball staff. She was willing and able, but was told she was no longer apart of the staff. She was entering in her 4th year as assistant softball coach.

This will be the last and final post of this Webber Softball Page. From Coach Orr and Kennah, we wanted to thank all the past and present players, families, and fans for their support the last 5 years. We will cherish each relationship and memory made during our tenure at Webber Softball. We wish everyone the best, and remember to always

It is a sad day for Webber Softball. Head Coach, Brent Orr, has resigned from his position. This decision was a long and emotional decision! Each and every past, present, and future player holds a place in his heart. We are sad to see him leave, but we are all excited for his future ventures.

We thank Coach Orr for the program he built, the memories he made, and the relationships that will last a life time. He goes out with his head held high and his team standing firm behind him.

We love you, Coach Orr
