Bakersfield Magic Basketball

Well, the league has made an announcement.
The league has replaced us, and we found out about it—or at least it was confirmed as we had our suspicions—when we saw the announcement that they have awarded a new franchise to former members of our organization. The Magic will not be back in Bakersfield next season, and we have learned the hard way that not everyone you let in is genuinely happy for you. Almost everyone involved in the new franchise were brought into the sport through our organization and have less than a full year in Professional Basketball.

The Magic Basketball Organization would like to thank those who have supported us in the past, including our sponsors, the City of Bakersfield, and our amazing fans.

That said, the Magic lives on. While we may be unable to return to Bakersfield, we have multiple projects underway for 2023. Stay tuned, thanks for believing, and no matter whether it’s in basketball or anywhere else in life, always remember...
