I used to feel small and did not know how I can enlarge myself. Yoga provides me a sense of spaciousness and a way to channel, express myself. Thank you for all who showed up last Saturday. Bring the community together. As close as I can.

☀️Calling my neighbors, far and near for joining me a yoga class tomorrow, Saturday June 30, 8 to 9 a.m. at Goju Ryu Karate-Do (3739 Columbus St, Bakersfield, CA 93306, just a couple doors down from Wells Fargo on Columbus & Oswell). It is completely FREE and my way of giving back to the community! No strings attached. No vendors/sponsors. No tip jar. We are gathering the neighborhood yogis together and get better to know each other. See you on the mat.
Very little lighting in my room in the early morning, yet I am feeling grateful for the space, energy and health to step on my mat. Recently, I was asked whether a person should change his/her diet to start a yoga practice. As you probably know, there seems to be a stereotype of what a real yogi is. The beauty of yoga is that we come as who we are and what we are: perfectly imperfect. It takes determination and discipline to develop a practice and allow it to unfold and blossom. Watch its beauty as our lives evolve.

While I was visiting home, I had the opportunity to practice yoga with Adesh in Taipei, seen in the middle, alongside a fellow yogini, Margaret Tzeng. I was reminded that the ultimate goal in everything we are doing is to maintain a healthy state of our well-beings and "BE HAPPY." No matter what style of yoga we practice, what kind of life we are living, what numbers in our bank accounts say, we are all working towards a happy and healthy self in every which way we can. I was also reminded the importance of alignments in yoga, when the foundation is strong and solid, we are building up for a lifetime long practice in a comfortable and sustainable way and through which the body awareness is cultivated.

I thought I found my center of the gravity ,only stayed there for less than two seconds. When I looked back, I wasn’t where I thought I was. 💫What I think is not always what it actually is.

西藏頌缽 工作坊 Enchanted by the sounds and vibrations of the singing bowls. I was soothed and completely transported to a higher state. My hands were held by Jacquie. I was anxious and netvuous and worried my bowl wouldn’t sing for me. People in the room sent me Reiki. I was reminded to stay focus (on my breaths ) and relax. A light, fun and educational day and I got to reunite with Jacquie. I watched full moon sky in the mountains all the way home. Magic. 🌕🌟⭐️
