What happens when your customer has sweated through and cemented their headset together. Nothing like a lot of drilling, sawing off the stem, a new fork, and new headset bearings to fix the problem. Pictured: a seatpost inserted into the head tube to be able to use a tool to remove the headset race.

The kern river parkway trail is a great spot to ride protected lanes! Have fun on this public paved trail provided by the city, and obviously ride and park at your own risk. Ride on 🤘

The evolution of cycling is fun working with and on. Here we have a 2004 Specialized mountain bike. Specialized worked with Fox to create the brain suspension system so that the suspension could have responsiveness to the trail, instead of the suspension being on or off (like most bikes at the time). During this time, hydraulic brakes were becoming more and more popular. This was one of the first years Shimano had a Deore hydraulic brake set. These brakes feature a reservoir for bleeding and still use the international standard mount. We are grateful where bikes are currently, but it is also fun bringing older bikes back to life again.
