Coach Jackson here,

With Senior Zones coming to a close, it is getting harder and harder to ignore the fact that six of our seniors will be leaving us this summer. Some of these athletes I have know since they were 11 or 12 and it has been hard coming to terms with them leaving. It was an emotional ride home for sure, but not in the way I expected.

As a coach, I sometimes get caught up in all of the numbers. Sometimes, I am more focused on the time drops, the places, and the meets. It’s important to remember why you started coaching in the first place. I hope that every athlete leaves this sport and this team a happier, better version of themselves. Turns out you six have made me a happier and better version of myself in the process. Thanks for allowing me to grow up alongside you. I am so proud of each and every one of you. Senior Zones 2024 will forever be one of my fondest memories. I grateful to have been a part of your swim career. Things won’t be the same without you!

To the coaches and teachers that will be receiving these athletes:

You all will be receiving some of the best this world has to offer. These are six of the funniest, kindest, and most hard working young adults that I have met. In some of the worst days this group has brought laughter and joy to their team and to their coaches. They have led this team through good times and through bad times and will be invaluable members of any team they are on.

To Alex, Brinkley, Lucas, Mason, Rylie, and Talan:

I hope you spend your last few days/weeks at home with your family who has loved and supported you through all of this! Make sure you tell your family how much you love and appreciate them. None of this would be possible without them!

Ace Aquatics will miss you! Be proud of the legacy you left on this program, and be proud of the young adults you have become!

Great Job Ace!

Another awesome day of swimming! Finished off the night with two podium finishes in the 400 free relays. Our 10 and under girls placed 3rd and our 13-14 girls placed 2nd! Great job everyone!

First full day of JOs done! Great job everyone! Lots of exciting swims. Our 12 & Under girls finished the night with a second place in the 400 Medley relay! Great job ladies!

Congrats to all of our athletes who competed in the Las Vegas Super Finals this past weekend! Walking away from mid-season with a lot of success and plenty more to work on. Enjoy Christmas break, and be prepared to come back and continue to improve as swimmers and teammates. Looking forward to seeing what this team does in February! This past weekend was Coach Kelly’s last meet with Ace Aquatics. A huge thank you for her two years leading our age group program. She has been such a positive role model, an amazing coach, and a friend to so many Ace Aquatics athletes and coaches. We wish her the best of luck at Grand Canyon University in the fall. You will always be part of the Ace Aquatics family, and we hope you come back to visit soon! 🤘
