Memorial Day "Murph": Honor the Fallen
To all our athletes,
This Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th, we gather as a community to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. As is tradition, we will be performing the "Murph" Hero WOD in memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy.
Whether this is your first "Murph" or your tenth, this day is about more than just the scoreboard—it’s about grit, community, and remembrance.
Workout Details
For time:
1 Mile Run
100 Pull-ups
200 Push-ups
300 Air Squats
1 Mile Run (Partitioned or unpartitioned; Rx is performed wearing a 20/14 lb weighted vest)
Class Schedule
We will be hosting two heat times to ensure everyone has the space and support they need:
Early Bird Heat: 6:00 AM
Morning Heat: 7:30 AM
Note: Please arrive 15 minutes early to warm up and prep your gear so we can start the briefing on time.
Scales & Substitutions
All levels are welcome! "Murph" is a grueling workout, and we have plenty of ways to scale:
Half Murph: Cut the reps and distance in half.
Partner Murph: Split the reps with a buddy.
Band/Ring Scales: Scaling options for pull-ups and push-ups will be available.
How to Join
Space is limited for each heat. Please reserve your spot via the app by Sunday evening so we can finalize the heat sheets.
