Fitness, Health, Human Nature I may not look 300% the best, but what I can offer is proper exercise technique, and basic nutrition info.

I love helping people get fit, even if it's not that same high school pair of clothing, I can definitely try. I have recipes, different workouts and the body parts in which they incorporate, and many other things. My help is free of charge, no need to pay to be healthy from/by me.

So i just came up with a recipe for blueberry protein fluffy(icecream). I know its 1am, but i'm hungry, and well, i was going to make an egg white sandwich, but this will saffice. Definitelt smells good and tastes even better. Road to 180lbs

Though it's debatable, i will say this, depending on the type of energy drink, or preworkout you prefer/ can or can't have, i've cone to a conclusion, this don't make me feel nearly as bad as regular energy drinks. I think again it's a preference thing. When i first got into fitness and learning about nutrition, i wasn't really interested in certain types of drinks, such as these. But overtime, i've come to discover that i truly like zero sugar drinks. They may not exactly like their regular counterparts, but they definitely do the job. The cherry starburst flavor is good in my book.

If I came out with two fitness related books, priced low, would anyone actually buy them. I wanted to make a cookbook and an exercise book, but I want to know if I actually do, how many people would really purchase them.

Though I haven't been to the gym since June, I'm managed to make shift my bench and resistance band. I just wish I had more dumbbells this shortage of weights is relentless

01/28/2021

Well home workouts is where I started out, let's try to reach a 220lb bench press goal since I haven't flat benched in a long while. Honestly it pains me to say my bench is low, but I can chest press 360lbs no problem, but leg press a sum total of 685lbs, hack squat 385lbs, squat 440lbs, deadlift 365lbs, but my bench press is the lowest. We'll see how this goes I guess.

The last pancakes I made came out amazing, so here's the recipes I used, they're healthier than regular pancakes, with a little bit of extra flavor. For this you will need:

1. 1 cup of kodiak cakes power cakes chocolate chip flavor
2. 1 cup of almond milk, I use blue diamond vanilla almond milk
3. 1 whole egg

Once you whisk it altogether, be sure to whisk it really well as the powder is all the way mixed into the milk and egg, pull out a nice medium sized pan to cook them in. Typically I cook on low-to-medium heat as most pans have different smoke points, which is when a pan gets too hot and starts to smoke, causing food within the pan to burn. Distribute the batter into 3 to 4 inch pancakes, and let it cook until bubbles start to form around the border of the pancakes. Keep in mind, doing more than one at a time might put too much attention into one individual pancake over others, which is where the low heat comes into play.

Once the bubbles do start to form, flip the pancakes over and poke a small whole into the surface of the pancakes to allow them to cook all the way through. Once they're complete, there are two things you can do, first which is optional, butter the pancakes, if not have omit the butter to keep the calories down. If you need the fat, then that's the optional part. Next, pour a serving of sugar free syrup or sugar free maple syrup on to the pancakes, as sugar free has way less calories than regular pancakes syrup. If you have other sugar free flavors of syrup, those will work to. Typically they range from 15-25 calories per serving. Lastly, enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Here my second protein donuts recipe, Chocolate Protein donuts. The base is the same, but different in flavor. For this, you'll need the following ingredients:

30g of flour
1 scoop of chocolate protein powder, for this i used (Ryse Chocolate Cookie Blast)
1 tsp of baking powder
15g of apple sauce
92 g of egg whites
120g of canned pumpkin
15g of unsweetened cocoa powder
2g-3g of low calorie sweetener
Non stick cooking spray
Donut tin

In a medium to semi large sized bowl, mix the ingredients together, really well. Mixing it might take a little extra effort to get everything together. Preheat the oven to 350°f, and then spray the donut pan as to not let the donuts stick. Bake for 8.5-9 minutes, no more than that, as the donut will come out rough and all that. But around 8.5 minutes, they've baked long enough. After that remove the donuts from the tin and let cool and enjoy.

So I decided to start posting donut recipes, I have 2 so far, but hopefully people can try these If they want to try lower calorie, higher protein, lower fat recipes without actually feeling guilty.

My personal favorite is pumpkin pie, I'll list the steps below, and the macros for the exact recipe. I myself have been trying to do low calorie, high protein, low fat, moderate carb.

Pumpkin pie protein donuts

For this recipe you need the following ingredients, timing within the oven has to be precise, and each ingredient has to be exact, no more or less then listed below.
1 food scale
A mixing bowl, plastic or glass, preferrably plastic
1 whisk
1 syntha-6 pumpkin pie protein powder 47g
92g of egg whites
120g of canned pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie, just plain canned pumpkin puree
15g unsweetened apple sauce
1-2 packets of sweetener. For sweetener, add packet based on taste, the more you add, the flavor becomes off.
1tsp baking powder
1- 6 count donut pan
1 knife
Whisk the ingredients together, but add the sweetener in last, based on taste.

Preheat the oven to 350° and spray the donut pan just enough to prevent the donuts from sticking. Evenly distribute donut dough in pan.

Once the oven is at 350° put the pan into the oven and set it for 9 minutes. Check them after 5 minutes. Around 8 minutes check them again, and taken them out at 9 minutes. Poke them with a tooth pick, they should be pretty firm, but the top part of it might be semi doughy, but it's firm all the way once somewhat cooled.

Lastly enjoy.

Comment down below if you find this recipe helpful and tasty.
The macros for this recipe are:

So recently i've been experimenting with other type of high protein foods, I think I'll start posting recipes surrounding those soon. I ran on e for a while when it came to fitness and health things to post about. Since this stupid Corona virus came along, I haven't been wanting to post much because it's blasted everywhere. But stay tuned. Something about chocolate chips and cinnamon coming soon.

You ever have those healthy fluffy pancakes. I made some this morning, here's what i used. Warning, the practice pancake is always that first one.

1c Hearty pancake mix
1 egg
3/4c of almond milk
2 packets of sweetener of choice.
2 tbsp of pbfit, or pb2 powder

Whisk in a bowl, and as pour around 3-4 inches of pancake mix into a heated pan. The pancakes per side take about 1-2 minutes, so be sure you watch them. Once the mix begins to form holes, flip and let that side cook. Once all the pancakes are done, lightly butter, add your syrup if you like, and enjoy. They were fluffy and smooth tasting.

Well I tried to upload this list a few days ago, fb couldn't just let me post it no no. Here is a list of the nastiest healthy foods I've ever eaten.

Some of these other people have sworn were good, but I don't think they are in the least. This ranges from protein foods, regular foods, snacks, etc. Nothing is biased, but definitely tastes nasty in my humble opinion.

1. Protein sourced foods:

A. Protein powder brands
• Body Fortress ( Chocolate, Chocolate peanutbutter, Vanilla, Strawberry).
I remember of my first protein powders there were so chalky and clumpy. Chocolate had this watered down chocolate milk taste, vanilla smelled like old items from an attic, and strawberry just was yack altogether. I couldn't bring myself to get it ever again. Chocolate peanutbutter wasn't too bad, but the taste was more coconut than anything chocolate peanut butter.
• Cytosport (Strawberry, Vanilla, and Chocolate) I thoroughly enjoy cookies and cream flavored muscle milk, but these other flavors are beyond me. When it came to vanilla, I accidently picked it up one day at Walmart, mistaking it for cookies and cream. Well to my utter surprise, as soon as I took that first sip I wanted to gag. The smell wasn't ultra bad, but the taste was horrid to say the least. Chocolate wasn't too bad, just very clumpy. It threw off the flavor of the shake overall. Strawberry I'll put above vanilla, but much like chocolate it was too clumpy, and somewhat chalky.
• Pure Protein (chocolate)
If I ever had one protein powder that needed the most ingredients to remotely taste ok, it would be this one. Though I'd only had the chocolate flavor, the taste alone was rough to drink. The smell was more watered down chocolate milk. It was enough though to never buy it again.
• Arnold Whey (Chocolate)
This one wasn't super bad, but the mixability was horrible. Despite blending it after using a shaker cup, it still had loads of clumps. The consistency was that of egg nog, but with clumps in it.

This is I guess the first part of my list, I'll post the rest probably in a string of posts. Hopefully i can't have a pretty good, well rounded, and in depth list.
