***PROJECT REVEAL*** So many guesses and the truck has been revealed at the International Monster Truck Museum & Hall of Fame, and it is none other than the newest truck to join the Freedom Racing fleet, “Abominable Snowman.”

The ‘Snowman’ is the pride and joy of its builder, the late Gary Weasenforth, which he started building in 1981 and with its unveil today, finally sees its completion wearing a beautiful set of 66” Goodyear Tires!

Gary diligently built this truck for more than 40 years, every detail was a meticulous component of his daily vision for what he wanted in his dream monster truck.

From Terry Woodcock, “We have been working on this for more than a year and to acquire, then display Gary Weasenforth’s labor of love, the ‘Abominable Snowman’ monster truck at the Monster Truck Hall of Fame, is a perfect example of what we do at Freedom Racing Monster Trucks. It’s all for Gary and his family.”

Look for an additional post thanking all of the people who helped to get this across the finish line, in addition to photos of the craftsmanship of “Abominable Snowman.”

**ON THE ROAD AGAIN** After traveling countless miles and hours over the last week, Terry & Dave have been rounding the country delivering parts, picking up new inventory and.. well, something truly unexpected is about to happen.

If you thought that Freedom Racing’s ‘Fun Toy Shop’ was done for the year after restoring a few Bigfoot’s for their 50th Anniversary celebration in June; well, you’re in for a monster-sized surprise.

This next reveal is about honoring a family legacy, about a project that’s been in the works for more than a year and with a lot of hard work, the monster truck community gets to see a stunningly beautiful creation that has been carefully hidden away for a long time.

If you know, don’t spoil it please.

If you are planning to be at the International Monster Truck Museum & Hall of Fame, bring a camera. You won’t want to miss this.

**FOR THE FANS FRIDAY** October 1998, in what would be a foreshadowing moment.. Terry Woodcock in the “Austin 3:16” truck, would line up next to Ronnie Sturges in “Unnamed & Untamed” in Adelanto, California.

This was 24 hours after Ronnie accidentally rolled over in Bakersfield, during a freestyle performance and it was during this race, where the owner of “Unnamed” at the time, Sam Sturges would tell Ronnie, “He does not win this next race, beat him!”

As you can tell, Ronnie sent the ‘ol girl’ and while he did get the win, he would roll the truck and the fans in attendance got a heck of a show!

‘Unnamed’ would be patched up, and the crew would drive overnight from Adelanto, CA to Coos Bay, OR (an 874 mile trip) and perform once again 48 hours later.

Would ya like to see more photos of this rare version of “Unnamed & Untamed?”

**TRUCKIN’ TUESDAY** This past weekend, longtime FRMT friend Jacob Smallwood debuted with the help of BlackMarket RC a build, which was assembled as an homage to Terry’s championship mud bogger, “Wild Thing.”

Many of you remember Terry’s build that was featured on the cover of Off Road Magazine, with a paint job that set a trend that still seen as spectacular to this very day!

Jacob ended up taking his “Wild Thing” RC truck through the rounds and took home a win!

Kinda makes ya think.. that truck really would look great on 66’s… right?

Hmmm.. 🤔

**IN MEMORY OF: ROBERT RICE**

All of us at Freedom Racing send our hearts out to Robert Rice’s family and friends, as the man known as ‘The Master of Mayhem’ who delivered innumerable experiences of joy at race tracks with the ‘Mayhem’ truck seen here, has passed away.

Robert's legacy lives far beyond the track. It is carried in the families who made Night of Destruction their tradition, in the laughter of children who grew up watching his stunts, and in the grassroots racing community he helped shape across Southern California. He will forever be part of the story of Kern Raceway, Irwindale Speedway, and motorsports history.

He is survived by his son Robert John Rice, his loving partner Cheryl Hyland, Nicole and Jesse Lutz, Jimmy Nordin, and his nephews Race and Rider Gardner.

Maybe all draw closer to our friends and family, ever mindful of the importance of making the most of the time we have with those we care about.

**PROJECT REVEAL** Filmed at Freedom Racing Studios (aka The Fun Toy Shop) with our music industry partners at Lyrical Lemonade, one of our ‘monster sized’ trucks is paying the rent!

Now remember, this was filmed in California where certain things are legal, and while this isn’t an endorsement of that; we are grateful to FRMT Team Member Juan Munoz for jumping in and helping setup this truck for the shoot.

FRMT Fan Parents: the video is in the comments so please be mindful that smoking is found in the video.

Another day working to take monster trucks to the masses!

**TUESDAY TRUCKIN’** We keep getting Freedom Mail from fans asking for more “Thunderstruck II” and we want to show you some more!

This is a great photo that shows more detail of the chassis that Terry designed, doing work in front of a massive crowd in Canada.

This truck was built LIGHT, with trimmed and buffed Firestones on light wheels, the chassis design didn’t need excessive tubing to make it strong, and the placement on the motor.. made this little Chevrolet S10, truly fun for the driver!

Should we get Terry to tell some behind the scenes details on this truck? Tell us what you want to hear, maybe we can get the bossman to get on camera-
